The Story of Concept

What is concept? Maybe a substance or an ingredient? Maybe a theme or an idea? Maybe humor or a good plot? Let’s look what a concept is for authors as well as for readers.

Concept is a substance or ingredient or theme or an idea, whatever you call which provokes a reader to keep his nose in the book rather than doing ten other things while reading. The concept should be such which is not easy or predictable to the reader. If concept of the book is predictable, the reader may lose interest to read further. The main task of an author is to twist or mold the story in such a way which gives depth to the story.

Concept can also be termed as a structure or a plot which gives your story a flow and meaning which the author is trying to explain. If the author is trying to tell the same old story to the readers, they would be least interested. Unique structure along with unique ideas and humor may lead the author to success. A unique way to describe your characters and events are always attractive for the readers rather than using the same old school and standard ways to describe them.

Concept is a substance which can be found in the first ever literary work till date. But a unique substance can be found only in some works done since then.
